The myth that most women want tall men
#1
I keep seeing posts by men here and on r/short that most women are not interested in men under 6 feet. This is completely false. Most of my friends are with guys who are under 5'10, and I've never dated a guy who is taller than that. Frankly I would feel strange with a man who's a foot taller than I am.

Most of us want a man who's taller than us that's true, but he doesn't have to be tall.

I can confirm. I've never been rejected by a woman because of my height, at least I don't think so. Online it's a different story though.

There was a study that the most preferred height was 5'9-5'11, and another one that said 5'11-6'0, but from experience women want a man who's slightly above average in height.

I agree with you. According to the guys at r/short tall guys like me are supposed to be preferred by women, but I can tell you from experience that it's not true. Most women are not interested in guys over 6'4. Only tall women are.

I'm with you fawkes. Women look at me like I'm some sort of freak, and I'm not ugly at all. Being extremely tall is absolutely NOT an advantage for dating.
