I am so sick and tired of waiting for a growth spurt

All my life I’ve been told, you’ll catch up someday, it’s in the family! I’m just so sick and tired of waiting for it to happen. I’m usually a negative guy, but even I looking at my 5’4 and 5’8 parents can agree that this can’t be be the end for me. What are some tell tale signs of a growth spurt? I’ve already done most of the whole puberty thing, which isn’t a good sign I know, but cmon, I can’t be done here... anyone know of one in a million stories of someone growing significantly post 18? My endo says I have the bone age of a 15 1/2 year old, which I can’t even tell if it’s a good thing anymore. It’s just maddening feeling like I’m stuck in a child’s body... but you are a child, okay you got me there.

Well there are plenty of basketball players who had crazy growth spurts after 16 and 18:

Maybe you're like them. Who knows.

It's very strange for a man with 5'4" and 5'8" parents to be 5'1". Do you have some eating disorder?

I have always been a lousy eater, I used to skip a lot of meals.but cmon, I don’t think this is enough to drop me a whole 3 inches below my own mother. I definitely won’t reach my full potential height, but what I am right now is beyond ludicrous, by no means have I been starving or lacking major nutrients, as far as far as Im aware. And if it’s means anything, Im practically almost gaining too much weight atm, which I know doesn’t necessarily mean Im getting plenty of nutrients

Eat a protein based diet and don't hold back on fats either. To be frank I'm a little skeptical of your upcoming growth spurt but if it's supposed to happen then that's the way to expedite the process because it's been scientifically proven that such a diet hastens puberty.

Well so am I, as any logical person would be. But cmon, my mother is 3 inches taller than me!! I don’t care what you say, that just doesn’t happen naturally, especially when your mother is literally simply average height. I don’t got nothing wrong with me medically. It’s just all so nonsensical. There’s no way I cannot at least reach my mothers height, which is a staggering 3 inches, but at the same time Im 18, how could that possibly even happen.... ughhhh
