Am i the only one who thinks 5'7 isn't short?

Everybody seems to think it's short, but I have a friend who was measured at that height (in the evening with a stadiometer) and I see a lot of men around his height. It seems like far too common of a height to be called short and be seen as such, even if it is far from the average. I don't think it's short aside from the celeb world and in sports, so maybe it's all the 5'6 ish guys adding an inch to their height that make it seem short?

Depends on who you compare us too. I feel normal with Asians and Latinos. Actually I feel a little tall with some of them, particularly with Filipinos and Mexicans. It's definitely short for a white or a black man though. Not saying I feel like a midget with them but it's definitely on the shorter side.

How is it not short? James McAvoy is 5'7" and he's shorter than almost every white man, celebrity or not. Just look at his pics.
