When is it no longer a boy's height?

We all know 5'8" is shorter than average but I think we can all agree that it's not a boy's height, as there are very few boys at that height. Those boys will end up well over 6 feet in adulthood. So is 5'7" a boy's height? Is it 5'6", or is it 5'5"?

What's your definition of a boy? A 16 year old? Because half of them are at least 5'8" or taller in the western world.

Nevermind 5'8" I say that 5'9" is a boy's height as well, as it's still under average. There are many boys in puberty who are 5'9".

Oh come on. The only boys in puberty who are 5'9" are the ones who will end up 6'4" or taller. In other words, the 1%.

Maybe he's talking about the boys who have almost finished puberty. Many of them are indeed 5'9" or taller. Don't forget that the legal definition of an adult in the US and the western world in general is a person who's 18 years old. So technically anyone below that age is a boy.

Everyone sees it differently, but I can tell you, that as a 6'2" guy I don't regard men over 5'8" as boys, so I don't see why most men (who are shorter than me) would consider it a boy's height.
